Community economic development practice, especially in the urban context, within the sustainability framework?economy, equity and a pluralistic society, and the natural and built environment. Particular attention is given to understanding pluralistic and diverse communities' goals and methods for economic empowerment. (Gen. Ed. SB)

This course is intended to develop advanced writing and critical thinking skills for upper level students majoring in Landscape Architecture and Sustainable Community Development.
