Career & Pro Dvlpmt Workshop

This course is designed to help you develop and polish essential career and professional development pieces. The idea is that, whether you are looking for a new job, aiming for a promotion, or happily working in your current position, you need certain items in your career toolkit. Those items include resumes, cover letters, elevator pitches, LinkedIn profiles and behavioral interviewing techniques. We'll use assigned readings, instructional videos, and other guidelines to establish criteria for meeting today's standards.

Appl Resrch Methods/Srvc Mgmt1

This course is a two-part honors seminar that occurs over the course of the academic year and students must complete both to use the completion of this seminar to fulfill the honors research /thesis or project requirement. The first part of the honors seminar in fall semester is designed to introduce the methods and approaches utilized to conduct research. In the spring semester, the students who successfully completed the first part of the honors seminar will carry out the proposed research projects under the supervision of the faculty member teaching the seminar.
