Designed to encourage physical fitness, improve self-confidence, and encourage teamwork. AFROTC Cadets will take the Air Force Physical Fitness Assessment in accordance with Air Force Instruction 36-2905. Once classified as a cadet, Physical Fitness Gear (clothing) will be issued and worn in accordance with Air Force Instruction 36-2903.

Continuation of AS 111. Builds on the heritage and values that are the foundation of the Air Force while preparing students for more in-depth studies the following year. All textbooks and special reference materials are supplied by the department.
