Modern Greek I

Greek I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Modern Greek offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator.

Moroccan Arabic I

Moroccan Arabic I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Moroccan Arabic. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Moroccan Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Moroccan Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Morocco and to support course work in Middle Eastern, African and International Studies.

Kazakh I

Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and engagement with Georgian-speaking communities, and to support course work in Eurasian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Igbo I

Filipino I

Filipino I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Filipino, the national language of the Philippines developed from Tagalog and other regional languages. The course is offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator.
