Hnr Indstu In German

This is a stand-alone independent study designed by the student and faculty sponsor that involves frequent interaction between instructor and student. Qualitative and quantitative enrichment must be evident on the proposed contract before consent is given to undertake the study.

German Literatures/Migration

In this course we will engage with a variety of literary texts that address migration in the German context from the postwar period to the present. Over the course of the semester you will learn about different migrations and their impact on the German literary landscape by engaging with a wide variety of genres including essays, poems, graphic narratives, and short stories. Elementary German

Dialogues, reading selections from print and electronic sources, and grammar exercises for basic communication, a good understanding of the fundamentals of German grammar, and an introduction to the traditions and institutions of the German-speaking countries.
