This class prepares teachers to understand the characteristics of students with behavior disabilities, to develop effective interventions, and to conduct a functional behavior assessment (FBA).
Introduction to reading instruction. Critical overview of current approaches, methods, materials. Introduction to theories about the reading process and children's acquisition of written language.
Disability Services offers volunteer note-takers the option of either 45 hours of community service or one P/F credit towards graduation for their assistance in providing access to class notes to our students with disabilities.
