ST-Egyptian Arabic II

Egyptian Arabic II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Egyptian Arabic. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Egyptian Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Egyptian Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Egypt and to support course work in Middle Eastern, African and International Studies.

Yoruba is one of the primary languages of Nigeria and also spoken in diaspora communities in Brazil and the Caribbean. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Yoruba develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in West Africa and to support course work in African and African-Caribbean studies.

ST-Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian IV

Serbo-Croatian IV (Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian IV) is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, or Montenegro and to support course work in European Studies or Balkan Studies.
