Writing in Engineering

This course fulfills the University's Junior Year Writing Requirement for students in the College of Engineering. Students will be introduced to traditional technical and scientific writing forms, including outlines, summaries, mechanical and technical descriptions, extended technical definitions, research reports, and proposals. Transfer Student Seminar

This seminar is specifically intended to support transfer students from community colleges in the College of Engineering that are S-STEM Fellows. The topics covered will vary based on the needs of the students but will generally include peer and faculty mentoring, academic advising, career awareness, academic skill development, and professional development.
