S- Sports Sales Strategy

This experiential learning course provides students with the opportunity to actively participate in their personal and professional development within the context of sports sales. Through actively participating in the learning process, students will enhance their experience and understanding of the selling process specifically including: inventory development, proposal development, prospecting, sales presentations, and negotiation of sales agreements.

Diversity & Inclusion in Sport

This course examines an encompassing perspective of diversity within North American and international sport organizations. Specifically, the purpose of this course is to provide students with an analysis and understanding of the various ways that people within sport organizations can differ, and how differences based on this diversity impact life experiences and outcomes.

The Family

First part: historical transformations in family life (relationships between husbands and wives, position and treatment of children, importance of kinship ties); second part: the contemporary family through life course (choice of a mate, relations in marriage, parenthood, breakup of the family unit). This course will cover contemporary investment strategies, with an emphasis on real-world relevance. The theme of the course will vary depending on instructor interest and expertise. Major topics: fundamental analysis, market efficiency, and computer age investing.
