ST- Mongolian I

Mongolian I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Mongolian. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Mongolian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Mongolia and to support course work in Asian Studies.

ST- Modern Tibetan III

Modern Tibetan III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Modern Tibetan. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Modern Tibetan develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Tibet or Tibetan-speaking areas and to support course work in Asian Studies or Buddhist Studies.

ST-Twi V

Twi V is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Twi I-IV or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Twi develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Ghana and to support course work in African Studies.

ST-Burmese II

Burmese II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Burmese. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Burmese develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Myanmar (Burma) and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

ST-Indonesian VII

Indonesian VII is the third part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Indonesian. The course format combines independent study with small group conversation sessions. Students studying Indonesian develop speaking, listening, and basic literacy skills needed for study abroad in Indonesia and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

ST-Georgian V

Georgian V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Georgian. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.

ST-Danish III

Danish III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Danish. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. Students studying Danish develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Denmark and to support course work in European Studies.
