Choral Conducting Lab Ensemble

The Choral Conducting program at UMass Amherst is designed to offer students increasing experience with the technical and expressive skills that conducting demands. Music 597L will cover the practice and exploration of gestural communication as applied to choral music. The course will equip students with advanced conducting techniques, analytical skills, and rehearsal methods necessary to become successful ensemble conductors.

ST- Anatomy Lab for Vet Techs

This course covers gross anatomy and physiology of domestic mammals, with a clinical focus for students planning to enter the veterinary technology field. Mammalian anatomy is approached in a functional and systemic way in laboratory sessions. Students use anatomical models and preserved specimens of a variety of species to study gross anatomy of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urogenital, endocrine, and special sense organ systems.
