General Microbiology

Overview of the microbial world including a survey of the structure, functioning, and diversity of microorganisms. Introduction to the fundamental concepts of microbial physiology, ecology, genetics, and pathogenesis. Chemistry 112 or 250 are strongly encouraged.

Calculus I

Continuity, limits, and the derivative for algebraic, trigonometric, logarithmic, exponential, and inverse functions. Applications to physics, chemistry, and engineering. Prerequisites: high school algebra, plane geometry, trigonometry, and analytic geometry. Honors section available first semester. (Gen.Ed. R2)

Multivariate Calculus

Techniques of calculus in two and three dimensions, including vectors, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, line integrals, surface integrals and Green's, Stokes's, and the Divergence Theorem.
Honors section available. (Gen.Ed. R2)
