Visual communication skills necessary and related to architectural design presentation. Master's level.
Design VI
Students initiate a complex project selected in consultation with instructor and the faculty. Research may deal with historical aspects of the building, behavioral attitudes of users, and/or the program. Students expected to work independently and under faculty guidance.
Design II
Studio projects consist of basic architectural problems to which the student must respond with a designed solution. Problems develop analytical and aesthetic design and presentation skills. Design projects will emphasize technical integration. Major projects considered along with a minor project, written assignment(s) and in-class exercises.
Four-Skilled 3rd-Year Arabic 2
The course aims to help students achieve an Advanced-Low level of proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic with an exposure to one Arabic colloquial dialect through the practice of the four language skills.
Intrmd Four-Skilled Arabic II
Students in this course will continue perfecting thier knowledge of Arabic focusing on the four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students should expect text assignments as well as work with DVDs, audio and websites. Exercises include writing, social interatctions, role plays, and the interplay of language and culture.
