Hip Hop Nation & Literacy Prac
This course explores the relationship between hip hop culture and language and literacy practices of global youth cultures. We will look at this relationship in school and out-of-school contexts. (Gen. Ed. SB, DG)
P- Note Takers Practicum
Disability Services offers volunteer note-takers the option of either 45 hours of community service or one P/F credit towards graduation for their assistance in providing access to class notes to our students with disabilities.
Prac- Access to Success
This course is designed for undergraduate students who are registered with Disability Services. It teaches successful time management skills, learning strategies, utilizes active/critical reading techniques, information analysis, critical thinking, effective writing, testing strategies, study methods and self-advocacy.
