This course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Gulf Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions with a native speaker and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. In order to enroll in this course, students must have completed two semesters of Modern Standard Arabic at the 100-level or the equivalent. This course is appropriate for students who have had at least one year of Modern Standard Arabic that included a significant speaking component in either MSA or a dialect.

This course is designed to explore secondary mathematics curriculum topics and innovations. Students will investigate current trends in national, state and local professional curriculum recommendations as well as contemporary and innovative instructional materials designed to support current curricular recommendations.

The purpose of this course is to present intermediate level microeconomic theory. Primarily we will focus on consumer demand theory and economics of production. Both geometric and mathematical approaches will be presented. This course provides the background necessary for more advanced courses in the department.
