Malay III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Malay. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Serbo-Croatian VIII (Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian VIII) is an intermediate-level course in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian for students who have completed Serbo-Croatian I-VII or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, or Montenegro and to support course work in European Studies or Balkan Studies.

Georgian VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Georgian I-V or the equivalent. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.

Greek VII is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Greek I-VI or the equivalent. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Greek develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Greece and to support course work in European Studies.

Nepali V is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Nepali I-IV or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. Vietnamese for Heritage Speakers I is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Vietnamese develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Vietnam and to support course work in Asian Studies. This course is an entry-level course for students who already have some basic speaking skills in Vietnamese.
