ST-Fin Mgmt/Diversfd Veg Farms
This course will give students a clear understanding of how to set up and operate successful systems for financial management of a diversified vegetable farm. All aspects from system design, budgeting, financial recording, reporting, to data entry, will be addressed by a series of lecturers on these special topics. Students will walk away with a very usable system for financial management on a diversified vegetable farm plan.

The Boltwood Project
The course explores disability rights history and current topics such as effective community engagement, advocacy, self-advocacy, inclusion, social identities, policy, and the social dimensions of living with disabilities in the US today. Students, in small groups, participate in weekly service, engaging in enrichment and socialization activities with individuals living with disabilities, in collaboration with a local community partner (generally one evening/week).
