This course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Moroccan Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions with a native speaker and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. The focus is on practical everyday conversation and listening comprehension. Students studying Moroccan Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Morocco and to support course work in Middle Eastern and International Studies. In order to enroll in this course, students must have completed Moroccan I or the equivalent.

Khmer II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Khmer (Cambodian). The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. Students studying Persian develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad and to support course work in Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies.
