Gender, the environment and sustainability are key terms in debates about economic globalization and social justice. This course will introduce students to the perceived and existing links between women, gender, and the global environment as they appear in 21st century discussions about sustainable development. This the second semester of a 2-semester course commitment. This weekly seminar will be focused on increasing students' knowledge base about current psychological topics related to diversity in research and applied settings and fostering students' professional development (e.g., providing education about different career paths and graduate school) to prepare students for future careers in psychology with a strong foundation in diversity-related topics.
