ST-Burmese VI

Burmese VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Burmese I-V or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Burmese develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Myanmar (Burma) and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

ST-Czech V

Czech V is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Czeck I-IV or the equivalent. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Czech develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Czech Republic and to support course work in European Studies.

ST-Indonesian VI

Indonesian VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Indonesian I-V or the equivalent. The course is offered as a Five College Independent Plus Language Course. The course format combines independent study with small group conversation sessions and one-on-one peer-tutoring. Students studying Indonesian develop speaking, listening, and basic literacy skills needed for study abroad in Indonesia and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

ST-Dari I

Dari I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Dari. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Dari develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Afghanistan and to support course work in South Asian Studies.

Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.
