An overview of developmental psychology beginning with prenatal development and continuing through infancy, childhood, adolescence and into adulthood. Cognitive psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the scientific study of the mental processes involved in perception, attention, memory, knowledge, language, problem solving, reasoning, and decision-making. In short, cg is concerned with the scientific study of the mind and mental processes (Goldstein, 2005). When you finish the class you should be able to understand, evaluate, and do research in cognitive psychology. You will be learning from both a text and primary journal articles.
