Czech II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Czech. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Czech develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Czech Republic and to support course work in Eastern European Studies.

Students studying Bosnian-Serbian-Croatian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad and to support course work in European Studies.

Swahili II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Swahili (Kiswahili). The course is offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Swahili develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in East Africa (especially Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda) and to support course work in African studies. Prerequisite: Swahili I or the equivalent.

Hindi II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Hindi. The course is offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Hindi develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in India and to support course work in South Asian Studies.
