For third year students. Grammar, vocabulary, and fluency through graded readings to advanced level of reading, listening, oral, and written proficiency. A structured approach to literature. Prerequisite: HEBREW 301 or equivalent.

Continuation of HEBREW 126. Further intensive work aimed at the acquisition of basic modern Hebrew; emphasis on listening and reading, comprehension, vocabulary study, and oral as well as written expression rather than on formal grammar.
Continuation of HEBREW 230. Further work in Hebrew conversation, listening, reading, and writing. Introduction to Hebrew word-formation. Adapted short stories, videotapes. Language lab.
