Management of Innovation

This course offers an in-depth introduction to the management of technology and innovation. It will focus on critical stages of the innovation process, including the management and creation of technology, where key managerial decisions?such as resource allocation and cost-benefit analysis?play a central role. We will start with a historical overview of institutions that have shaped science and innovation, followed by a framework for how to incentivize innovation. We will also cover the basics of intellectual property, including patent analytics.

AI and Ethics

This course will introduce students to AI technology and the current use cases in business, with an emphasis on the ethical and legal implications of AI adoption. Guidelines for responsible AI adoption by business will be explored, along with frameworks for effective AI policy.
