Armenian II

Armenian II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Armenian. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Armenian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Armenia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.

Albanian II

Albanian II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Albanian. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. Moroccan Arabic I

Moroccan Arabic I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Moroccan Arabic. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Moroccan Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Moroccan Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Morocco and to support course work in Middle Eastern, African and International Studies.

Levantine Arabic I

Levantine Arabic I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Levantine Arabic. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Levantine Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Levantine Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Syria or the West Bank and to support course work in Middle Eastern and International Studies.

BasicAnimlNutr&Feeding colloq

The course provides an introduction to critical reviews of primary research literature within the field of nutrition. Students are expected to present a recent nutrition-based peer-reviewed research paper to the rest of the class and to answer questions regarding the context, methods, and conclusions drawn by the authors.
