Advanced study of major qualitative research designs and methods used to build substantive knowledge in nursing. Empha-sis placed upon experiential learning of methods and techniques to design studies and generate, analyze, and interpret data.

This course focuses on intermediate statistical techniques frequently used in health sciences research, use of analytic software, and database creation and management.
