Wolof IV

Wolof IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Wolof offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Wolof develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Senegal and engagement with Wolof-speaking communities, and to support course work in African Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Vietnamese IV

Vietnamese IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Vietnamese offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Vietnamese develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Vietnam and engagement with Vietnamese-speaking communities, and to support course work in Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Urdu IV

Urdu IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Urdu offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Urdu develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Pakistan or India and engagement with Urdu-speaking communities, and to support course work in South Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Hungarian IV

Hungarian IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Hungarian offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator.
