The Five College Korean Language Program allows students at each of the five campuses to develop a concentration of study devoted to the Korean language and culture.
Plants in our World
This course will enable students to study the intricate and often intimate relationship between plants and people, taking an interdisciplinary approach. Students will learn fundamental concepts in plant biology including fundamental properties of life, food chains and food webs, plants as primary producers and humans as consumers One of the primary learning goals will be society's historical connection to plants and how plants have made an impact on civilizations.
ST- Analytics in Social Media
As people are increasingly sharing their daily lives on social media, organizations and celebrities are using it as a channel to directly engage with followers. A lot of data is being generated in these interactions. This course seeks to provide students with frameworks and tools to gather insights from this data. For an organization this might allow them to gain insights into their market structure and their customers' perceptions of the brand.
FundamentalPrinciples/Fin Mgmt
Basic concepts, principles, and practices involved in financial budgeting, planning for the cost of capital, and managing financial aspects of organizational sustainability and growth. Both theory and techniques applicable to financial problem solving.
Fixed Income
This course explores key issues in fixed income markets. It develops tools for valuing and modeling the risk exposures of fixed income securities and their derivatives.
