Filipino IV

Filipino IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Filipino, the national language of the Philippines, developed from Tagalog and other regional languages.The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Filipino develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Philippines and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

Modern Greek IV

Modern Greek IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Modern Greek. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. Students studying Hindi develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in India and to support course work in South Asian Studies.

Haitian Creole IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Haitian Creole. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Haitian Creole develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Haiti and to support course work in Caribbean and/or Francophone Studies.

The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, or Montenegro and to support course work in European Studies or Balkan Studies.

Wolof III

Wolof III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Wolof. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Wolof develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in West Africa, especially Senegal, and to support course work in African Studies.

Vietnamese III

Vietnamese III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Vietnamese. Students studying Vietnamese develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Vietnam and to support course work in Asian Studies.

Urdu III

Urdu III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Urdu. The course is offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program.
