ST-Topics in Advanced Urdu III

Topics in Advanced Urdu III focuses on developing advanced reading and speaking skills, expanding vocabulary, and improving the ability to describe/narrate in detail and support opinions. Topics are chosen in consultation with the program director. Students studying Urdu develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Pakistan or India and to support course work in South Asian Studies.

ST- Dutch V

Dutch V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Dutch. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Dutch develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Netherlands and to support course work in European Studies.

ST- Dutch IV

Dutch IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Dutch. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Burmese VIII is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Burmese I-VII or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program.
