Modern Irish VI

Modern Irish VI is an intermediate course in Modern Irish (also known as Irish Gaelic) offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study and an evaluation by an outside evaluator, as well as collaborative contribution of course readings and discussion questions. Students studying Irish develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Ireland and engagement with Irish-speaking communities, and to support course work in Celtic Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Greek VI is the second part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Modern Greek offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator.

Levantine Arabic VI

Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and engagement with Georgian-speaking communities, and to support course work in Eurasian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Filipino VI

Filipino VI is the second part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Filipino offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. Students studying Filipino develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Philippines and engagement with Filipino-speaking communities, and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.
