Hindi V

Hindi V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Hindi offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Hindi develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in India and engagement with Hindi-speaking communities, and to support course work in South Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Modern Tibetan V

Modern Tibetan V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Tibetan offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Tibetan develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Tibet, India, and Nepal and engagement with Tibetan-speaking communities, and to support course work in South Asian and Buddhist Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Modern Irish V

Modern Irish V is an intermediate course in Modern Irish (also known as Irish Gaelic) offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Irish develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Ireland and engagement with Irish-speaking communities, and to support course work in Celtic Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Modern Greek V

Greek V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Modern Greek offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. Georgian V is an intermediate course in Georgian offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and engagement with Georgian-speaking communities, and to support course work in Eurasian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Filipino V

Filipino V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Filipino offered through the Five College Center for World Languages. The course format includes intensive independent study, small group conversation sessions led by a peer conversation partner, and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Filipino develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Philippines and engagement with Filipino-speaking communities, and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies and other academic, vocational, and personal goals.

Egyptian Arabic V
