A deeper investigation into the methods and strategies for mold making and casting. This course will focus on developing technical ability with a range of contemporary molding and casting materials and techniques.

Air Pollution and Health
What is the air we breathe composed of and where do various pollutants come from? How does exposure to air pollutants manifest in chronic disease? What level of exposure is too much and how can I minimize my exposure? The goal of this course is to answer these questions and provide you with tools to quantify the environmental risks of air pollution.
Wellness for All
An introduction into the dimensions of wellness and different health/wellness programs for individuals with a wide array of health problems. Students will also be introduced to health disparities and possible solutions. Topics include the dimensions of wellness, issues in multi-cultural medicine, and programs for individuals with chronic disease and disabilities.

This class will teach students the basic skills necessary to give engaging, effective, content-rich presentations in a variety of contexts, including research presentations, job interviews, and professional interactions. It will focus on optimizing presentation length, content structure (openings, body, closings), body language, enunciation, moods, pacing, audience-interaction (asking questions, taking questions), props and audio-visual aids. Students will learn by doing and, therefore, be expected to give parts of presentations or presentations frequently.
