This course gives students the unique opportunity to learn and apply their business and marketing knowledge and work with a professional management consultant in "real life" business situations. It is an exceptional means for students to apply their knowledge gained in an academic setting through course work, lectures, readings, and other intellectual experiences to a real business situation. Students will work on a team, assess their client's marketing efforts, perform market research, and prepare an action plan (Marketing Plan) based upon their research.

ST-Voices From the Field II

Construction site tours and firm visits to expose students to the nuances of the construction process-- knowledge typically attained after graduation. By examining active projects throughout the region, students will learn about the relationship between concept and technical design, develop an understanding of construction sequences, and become familiar with the architect's role in construction administration. During site visits, students will also get the chance to compare documentation to projects in construction.
