In this course, we practice activities that build on individual strengths and foster social connections, to improve stress management and increase resilience. We will use reflective writing, sharing in small groups, mindfulness exercises, and insights from research to increase self-awareness, practice skills of responding to life?s challenges, and facilitate growth in response to adversity.

This journal club is open to graduate students who have an interest in reviewing the current scientific literature in the field of plant-microbe-soil interactions.

Honors thesis research and writing. Full year course with PHYSICS 499Y. Honors Thesis expectations are high. The intended end-product is a traditional research manuscript with accompanying artifact(s), all theses: - are 6 credits or more of sustained research on a single topic, typically conducted over two semesters. - begin with creative inquiry and systematic research. - include documentation of substantive scholarly endeavor. - culminate in an oral defense or other form of public presentation.
