Survey of music of the European classical tradition. Music fundamentals, forms, and styles from the Medieval period to the 20th century. Listening to representative recordings of various stylistic periods. Concert attendance outside class time required. (Gen.Ed. AT)

This course explores materials science and engineering through interdisciplinary study, allowing students to select topics spanning metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites. Through lectures, discussions and presentations, students will deepen their understanding of material properties, applications, and design principles. Emphasis is placed on collaborative learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for careers in materials-related industries and research fields.

Techniques of calculus in two and three dimensions, including vectors, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, line integrals, surface integrals and Green's, Stokes's, and the Divergence Theorem. Honors section available.
