US Health Systems

This course explores the current landscape of healthcare delivery systems in the United States. A focus will be given to the evolution of healthcare, economic models, organizational components, health policy, and health services personnel. National demography, mortality and morbidity, political influence, and sociological forces will be covered to understand the current healthcare delivery system. Independent Study

In this class, students will acquire hands-on experience in diverse aspects of the research process in any field of Biology, from familiarizing themselves with a research topic, generating interesting questions, designing experiments, acquiring technical skills, collecting and analyzing data, to writing and/or presenting their results.
