Dutch II

Dutch II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Dutch. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Dutch develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Netherlands and to support course work in European Studies.

Indonesian II

Indonesian II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Indonesian. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The course format combines independent study with small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Indonesian develop speaking, listening, and basic literacy skills needed for study abroad in Indonesia and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

Danish II

Students studying Danish develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Denmark and to support course work in European Studies.

Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian II

Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, or Montenegro and to support course work in European Studies or Balkan Studies.

Haitian Creole II

Haitian Creole II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Haitian Creole. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Haitian Creole develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Haiti and to support course work in Caribbean and/or Francophone Studies.

Cantonese/MandarinSpeakers2

Spoken Cantonese for Mandarin Speakers II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Spoken Cantonese for Mandarin Speakers. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Cantonese develop speaking and listening skills needed to live and work in China or Hong Kong and to support coursework in East Asian Studies.

Bulgarian II
