Turkish II

Turkish II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Turkish. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Turkish develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Turkey and to support course work in Middle Eastern Studies.

Thai II

Thai II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Thai. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Thai develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Thailand and to support course work in Asian Studies.

Georgian II

Georgian II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Georgian. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.

Filipino II

Filipino II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Filipino, the national language of the Philippines, developed from Tagalog and other regional languages. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Filipino develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in the Philippines and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

Modern Greek II

Modern Greek II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Modern Greek. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Modern Greek develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Greece and to support course work in European Studies.

Hindi II

Hindi II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Hindi. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Hindi develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in India and to support course work in South Asian Studies.

Haitian Creole II

Haitian Creole II is the second part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Haitian Creole. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Haitian Creole develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Haiti and to support course work in Caribbean and/or Francophone Studies.
