ST- Thermofluid Mechanics

This course will offer a survey of several topics within thermofluid mechanics during the course of the semester. The instructors will offer in-depth analysis on subjects such as turbulence, multi-phase flow, non-Newtonian flow, wave dynamics, and advanced energy conversion. The subject matter will be investigated at a high level; consequently, the class is open to doctoral students only.

ST-Human Robot Syst (Biorobot)

This course includes instruction on the fundamental concepts for developing wearable robotic systems intended to augment and enhance human capabilities and seminar-style discussions on state-of-the-art research in this field. It will provide an overview of human neuromotor control, sensors and methods used to quantify human motor behavior, and how these signals are then used to inform the design and control of human-centered robotic systems.bGraduate students enrolled in the 600 level course will be required to complete a term project.
