Amharic IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Amharic. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. Students studying Finnish develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Finland and to support course work in European Studies and Scandinavian Studies.

Haitian Creole for Heritage Speakers I is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Haitian Creole develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Haiti and to support course work in Caribbean and/or Francophone Studies. This course is an entry-level course for students who already have some basic speaking skills in Haitian Creole.

Students studying Modern Tibetan develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Tibet or Tibetan-speaking areas and to support course work in Asian Studies or Buddhist Studies.

Twi V is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Twi I-IV or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program.
