P-SBS Diversity Fellows Int II

This internship experience builds on the work SBS Diversity Fellows did last semester in the Diversity Fellows Internship Seminar. It is open only to students who completed SOCBEHAV 398DF. In this course, you will continue to cultivate career-building, leadership, advocacy, organizational, and professional communicational skills and apply them to your work as a Diversity Fellow. The course will equip you to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across SBS and to foster a sense of community and belonging among first-generation and BIPOC students.

ST- Egyptian Arabic VI

Egyptian Arabic VI is the second part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Egyptian Arabic. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Egyptian Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Egyptian Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Egypt and to support course work in Middle Eastern and International Studies.

ST-Data Analysis & Interprtatn

Informal discussion class, focusing on students' problems, concerns, or enthusiasm with their own experimental designs, data analyses, or interpretations of results, including computer- (particularly SAS) generated output. New techniques presented by the instructor or guest instructors as requested by the class. Students gain practical experience with data analysis and a better understanding of the approaches necessary for their own thesis or dissertation work. Prerequisite: PLNTSOIL 661 or other course in intermediate statistical analysis.
