Georgian III

Georgian III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Georgian. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.

ST-Adv Hindi & Urdu for Health

Advanced Hindi and Urdu for Health and Human Services. A course for advanced speakers of either Hindi or Urdu. The course will be based on videos from "Language for Health: The Practice of Medicine in Hindi and Urdu". The goal is to develop vocabulary and cultural knowledge needed to have conversations about health and human well-being in Hindi and Urdu speaking contexts. Course materials include a diversity of speakers using various styles of Hindi and Urdu. This course is part of the Five College Mentored Hindi and Urdu Program.

ST- Moroccan Arabic V

Moroccan Arabic V is offered in a special independent study format through the Five College Center for the Study of World Languages. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Moroccan Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions with a native speaker and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. In order to enroll in this course, students must have completed Moroccan Arabic IV or the equivalent and be comfortable with advanced level speaking and listening skills. Enrolled students participate in choosing discussion topics.
