ST- Nepali VI

Nepali VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Nepali I-V or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Nepali develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Nepal and to support course work in South Asian Studies.

ST-Cantonese/MandarinSpeakrsVI

Cantonese for Mandarin Speakers VI is the second part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Spoken Cantonese for Mandarin Speakers. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Cantonese develop speaking and listening skills needed to live and work in a Cantonese-speaking environment.

ST- Modern Irish IV

Modern Irish IV is the fourth part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Modern Irish (also known as Irish Gaelic). The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Modern Irish develop speaking and listening skills useful for study abroad in Ireland and to support course work in Celtic Studies.

Malay III

Malay III is the third part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Malay. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Malay develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Malaysia and to support course work in Southeast Asian Studies.

ST-Serbo-Croatian VIII

Serbo-Croatian VIII (Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian VIII) is an intermediate-level course in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian for students who have completed Serbo-Croatian I-VII or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Mentored Language Program. The course format includes small group conversation sessions and individual tutorials. Students studying Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural etiquette skills needed for study abroad in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, or Montenegro and to support course work in European Studies or Balkan Studies.

ST- Georgian VI

Georgian VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Georgian I-V or the equivalent. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Georgian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Georgia and to support course work in Eurasian Studies.
