An advanced course focused on development of reading and speaking skills, expanded vocabulary, and the ability to describe/narrate in detail, state opinions, and support opinions. Topics chosen in consultation with the program director.

Modern Greek VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Modern Greek I-V or the equivalent. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Modern Greek develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Greece and to support course work in European Studies.

Haitian Creole for Heritage Speakers II is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program.
