ST- Bulgarian VI
Bulgarian VI is the second part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Bulgarian. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Bulgarian develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Bulgaria and to support course work in European Studies.
ST- Vietnamese V
Vietnamese V is the first part of a four-part intermediate course sequence in Vietnamese. The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. ST- Modern Irish VI
Modern Irish VI is an intermediate-level course for students who have completed Modern Irish I-V or the equivalent. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Modern Irish (also known as Irish Gaelic) develop speaking and listening skills needed for study abroad in Ireland and to support course work in Celtic Studies.
S-Opinion Writing: Columns
Basic training in writing editorials, columns and broadcast commentary with an emphasis on political and social policies. How to encourage the persuaded, nudge the neutral and discomfit the opposition. The ability to write quickly will be stressed. Several short (two-page) papers.
Adv Biomechanics Lab Tec
Topics include: biophysical signals, frequency content, Fourier series, Fourier analysis, principles of data collection, data smoothing, electromyography, amplifier response characteristics, software data manipulation. Prerequisites: KIN 305 or 430 and 531 or equivalent. (formerly Exercise Science)
