An Honors introduction to ethics through issues of medicine and health care. Topics include abortion, treatment of impaired infants, euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide, truth-telling, medical experimentation on human beings and on animals, and the allocation of scarce medical resources. This course is an introduction to commercial property and liability insurance contracts. Additional topics related to commercial insurance are also discussed. We will examine insurance for commercial property risks in detail and provide an introduction to commercial liability insurance.
