ST-Culture & Business:S. India

This course combines readings and lectures with a two-week journey to Southern India to study business and culture in the world's largest democracy and the only predominant Hindu culture on earth. While in India, students will meet with Indian college students, business leaders, tour business facilities and cultural sites, attend lectures, and immerse themselves in the culture of South India. Must have a valid passport at the time of application.

This course is designed to prepare students for success in the following career and professional development competencies such as networking, internship/job search, professional etiquette and industry research. Specific activities will include but are not limited to: resume building, interviewing skills, dressing for success, utilizing social media platforms, developing elevator pitches, building professional connections, increasing knowledge of industry and career areas and navigating career fairs.

Business in Central Europe

This three-credit course is made up of on-campus seminars and a study abroad experience in Budapest, Hungary, Prague, and Czech Republic. Studying and traveling in Budapest and Prague will provide students with a rare opportunity for a first-hand study of a region with a rich cultural, political, and economic history. The course is designed to be a highly interactive study of Hungarian and Czech history and contemporary business in the two countries.

Course activities will include reading cool articles, meeting inspirational people, and engaging a set of experiences that may change your life forever.

Isenberg Transfer Connection

This seminar is designed to assist first semester Isenberg School of Management external transfer students with the transition into their new academic community. Through this one-credit seminar, students will be introduced to valuable academic and career related topics and provided with connections to campus resources, faculty and staff.
