Many of the things we accept as modern social, political, artistic and scientific movements have their roots in the 1960s. This course, designed to bring junior honors college students into a common intellectual experience, will feature a series of twelve lectures delivered by dynamic professors noted in their fields, on such topics as the Vietnam War, Student Activism, Health Care, Space Program, Civil Rights Movement, Counterculture Movements, Environmentalism, Architecture, Black Power, and Women?s Rights. This class aims to provide students fundamental knowledge for construction planning and scheduling. In the class, students learn to identify work item by using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), study work logistic sequence, and learn to apply the Critical Path Method (CPM) to construction projects, using precedence diagram networks. To practice the planning and scheduling knowledge, students direct an entire project from planning through scheduling and control, both manually and through software.

The ubiquity of sensor-equipped smartphones and wearables has led to increased interest in leveraging these signals for mobile healthcare, wearability and interaction, entertainment, and other applications. This seminar will explore research issues in sensor computing including: a) inference of human activity, gestures, cognitive state, health state, and physiological markers, by leveraging sensor signals from wearable devices, mobile phones, radio-frequency devices, and other sources, b) computational pipelines for extracting features and analyzing data from a variety of sensors (e.g.

Speech and Language Developmen

The emergence of speech and language milestones in English-speaking children with emphasis on the development of phonology, semantics, syntax, and pragmatics, and how these aspects of language may be influenced by cognitive development. Nursing Internship

Practicum prepares students for beginning professional nursing practice. Students expected to synthesize knowledge and skills to manage and advocate for groups of clients in various settings.
