The course will seek to understand how countries at different stages of growth and well-being, in an interdependent and globalizing world, view the evolution of global climate change, the opportunities they explore for the transition to global sustainability, and the changing North-South politics in international cooperation.

Development of individual skills necessary for designing, implementing, testing and modifying larger programs: use of various modern automated tools, design strategies and patterns, working with large code bases and libraries, code refactoring.

Focuses on the formal aspects of organization, structure, and design, and the relationship of these topics to such factors as technology, size, complexity, and environmental influences. Also, power, conflict, and politics within the context of formal organizations. (MANAGMNT 330 is a micro approach, focusing on individual and small groups; MANAGMNT 331 is a macro approach focusing on groups and organizations as a system in an environment.)
